Sense I had no kids around to try these on, I used the dogs. They were good spots. Bella stayed in that pose almost like she knew what I was doing. It was so cute. When i brought the camera up she stopped posing. I have a family full of hams, but being that I love to take pictures, thats alright with me.
This is the first part of the phase. I forgot to add the pipe cleaners but other than that its all here.
Trace than cut the pattern on the material your going to use. I used felt here. This would be a good stage to embroider the ears if you wanted to. Glue the pipe cleaners inside and don't forget the "L" shaped ones at the bottom. If you forget you ears will flop over.
After you glue the inside glue the backing onto the other piece and then glue on the pink inside part. Dont forget not to glue the tabs
After you have glued them together then glue the flaps onto the headband. One flap going one way over the headband and the other the opposite way.
This is where I realized that we needed the pipe cleaners inside.
Cut a couple stripes and glue on either side of the ears to make it look a little neater.
Glue them on the underside also.
And wallah you are done. Now remember that you can go crazy with this. Use glitter and pompoms. Embroider the ears with neat little designs. These ears in all cost less than a dollar. The same process goes for the rest of the ears I have made.
